CERTUS™ myHealth Pass to guarantee COVID-19 test results for professional Sports
SICPA SA and KDL are delighted to announce that they signed an agreement in late July under which SICPA will secure Covid-19 tests results using a cutting-edge Digital Security Seal technology, using its CERTUS™ myHealth Pass service. This guarantees that health status cannot be faked and protects against fraud.
In early August KDL will roll out the secured certificates in the services it supplies to the Sports industry in the Russian Federation and the CIS. The programme will therefore assure the latest tested health status of all sportsmen and staff in various sports.
“We are expecting that more than 100,000 Covid-19 tests will be delivered by KDL labs and secured by CERTUS™ by the end of 2020” Yuri Leonov CEO KDL.
CERTUS™ myHealth Pass provides proofs of test status in both digital and material form. Data is revocable and thus always up-to-date. It respects personal privacy concerns while providing incontrovertible assurances of health status to the sporting authorities. The credential is authenticated by scanning a tamper-proof QR-code with a smartphone or a computer. The verification is independent from the document issuer. No personal or sensitive information is stored, either directly or encrypted, in any data base or on the blockchain and no extra-infrastructure is required.
