SICPA Receives Banknote Ethics Initiative Accreditation

The Banknote Ethics Initiative (BnEI) Accreditation Council announced on 5 November that SICPA SA Security Inks Division had received the accreditation after completing the assessment undertaken by independent auditors.

This certifies that SICPA is in full compliance with the Code of Ethical Business Practice within the BnEI audit framework. Central Banks and stakeholders can be confident with SICPA’s high ethical standards.

BnEI stipulates a clear framework for promoting and maintaining ethical practices and requires members’ commitment in the prevention of corruption and on compliance with anti-trust law within the banknote industry. SICPA SA is one of the eight founding member companies of the initiative. All members must adhere to the strict Code of Ethical Business Practice developed in partnership with the Institute of Business Ethics and pass accreditation.
