Partnership between SICPA and the Moroccan government
SICPA is pleased to announce the signature of an agreement marking the continuity of the company’s partnership with the Moroccan government for a further 5 years.
The contract covers the secure marking of goods subject to excise tax, notably tobacco products, alcohol and other beverages. The extension of the contract to 10 years has allowed the renegotiation of financial terms which are beneficial to all stakeholders.
SICPATRACE®, the technology platform for secure marking which SICPA has provided, has enabled the Moroccan government to reinforce the integrity of the supply chain, improve tax recovery, provide a robust means of product authentication and protect consumer safety.
