SICPA to successfully experiment its solution to detect pathogens in wastewater with Holy Name Medical Center

SICPA has been successfully experimenting its pathogen early detection system with Holy Name Medical Center in New Jersey, USA. Through a daily analysis of localised wastewater, the system was able to quickly detect the presence of pathogens such as SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza, and maintain patients’ safety preventing the spread of the disease throughout the medical center.

Similar to the aircraft wastewater testing method, which has proven to be effective with more than 300 aircrafts tested in the Gulf region, community wastewater testing is an innovative way to monitor the spread of pathogens among the population.
