Kenya, Indigenous tree planting

On March 8, 2021, SICPA Kenya, with the International Tree Foundation (ITF) and the Karai Youth Forum Community Based Organization, held a colourful tree planting event at the Mai-a-Ihii Primary School in Kikuyu, Kiambu County.

200 indigenous trees were planted around the school compound with various officials and more than 25 SICPA employees. The activity was a steppingstone towards rehabilitating an area that is adversely affected by extreme dry weather conditions.

In addition, sanitary towels and undergarments were distributed to female students.
