How long have you been doing your apprenticeship at SICPA, and in which field?
I have been working at SICPA for about six months. I joined the company in August 2025 and I am currently in the second year of a commercial employee apprenticeship within the Marketing Department.
What made you want to apply to SICPA?
Before joining SICPA, I was not familiar with the company. What motivated me to apply was the fact that SICPA has a strong family-oriented culture and promotes positive values. Having previously worked in a similar environment, I felt that it matched what I was looking for.
What do you appreciate most about your apprenticeship at SICPA?
What I appreciate most about my apprenticeship at SICPA is the variety of tasks I am involved in. In my current role within the Marketing Department, I work on a wide range of activities related to event organisation and the creation of brochures. No two days are the same, which keeps the work interesting and engaging.
What is even more valuable is that during our three-year apprenticeship, we rotate to a different department each year, including Accounting, Human Resources, and Marketing. This gives us the opportunity to discover the different aspects of the commercial employee profession and gain a broader understanding of how the company operates.
How is this experience at SICPA an asset for your professional future?
This experience at SICPA is a real asset for my professional future because SICPA is a well-known and respected company. Being able to state on my CV that I completed my apprenticeship here can only be beneficial and bring positive opportunities for my career.
How would you describe your relationship with your trainer and your team?
I get along very well with my trainer, who is always available whenever I need help and is incredibly supportive. More generally, the entire Marketing team has been great with me. I can ask anyone for assistance at any time, and everyone is willing to help. They have truly made me feel welcome and fully integrated into the team.
What achievement are you most proud of since the beginning of your apprenticeship?
Since the start of my apprenticeship, I have had the opportunity to work with another apprentice on the creation of the company’s employee greeting cards. It was one of the largest projects I have been involved in so far and one of my proudest achievements. Being entrusted with this level of responsibility has been both rewarding and enriching.
What advice would you give to a future apprentice who would like to join SICPA?
If I could give one piece of advice to a future apprentice, it would be not to feel stressed. From the outside, SICPA can seem a little intimidating because it is a multinational company with a large number of employees. However, once you become part of the organisation, you quickly realise how strong its family values are and how welcoming the environment truly is.
