I am currently in the second year of my Logistics apprenticeship within SICPA’s Supply Chain department. My responsibilities include receiving and shipping goods, managing inventory, and labeling items. What I enjoy most about my apprenticeship is the variety of tasks and the opportunity to discover different departments. I am also fortunate to work in a team with a very friendly, family-like atmosphere.

I am currently completing a long-term internship at SICPA while pursuing my studies in International Business Management at HEG. Within the Finance department, I support the Business Finance and Controlling teams in a variety of operational activities. This experience allows me to apply the concepts I learn in class, particularly in accounting and finance. I especially appreciate the opportunity to explore different areas of finance, the company's international environment, and the support and kindness of my team. This experience is also helping me gain a better understanding of the professional world and develop valuable skills for my future career.

I've been working at SICPA for a little over three years as a Mediamatics apprentice in the marketing department. I mainly handle creating visual content, including product photography, videos, and brochures. It's actually this variety that I enjoy most about my apprenticeship. I can go from photography to designing a brochure and then work on tasks that are more marketing-focused. The atmosphere is pleasant and supportive, which makes learning even more enjoyable on a daily basis. My apprenticeship has taught me a lot and is a real advantage for my future career.

What I appreciate most about my apprenticeship at SICPA is the variety of my tasks. During our three-year apprenticeship, we move to a different department each year, which allows us to discover different aspects of the profession. The whole team has made me feel very welcome, and this experience is a real asset for my professional future.

With over twenty years of experience at SICPA, Marlyse embodies inspiring female leadership in a scientific and technological field where women remain still under-represented. Now leading the Security Features & Detection department, she oversees five laboratories and a team of 80 people, with a management style based on listening, cohesion, and conviction.
